Lindsay + Angelo's Summer Wedding in Easton, PA

As Lindsay rounded the corner at the top of the steps there was an audible gasp and squeals among her bridesmaids. She was absolutely glowing! Her bridesmaids, the closest women in her life, definitely agreed. As tears sprung to their eyes, smiles spread across each of their faces. Ear to ear grins. Her flower girl had princess dress dreams dancing across her face. As Lindsay descended the stairs, the trance her bridesmaids had found themselves in quickly evaporated as they promptly resumed their bridesmaid duties: 1) Keep the dress safe 2) Be ready on time 3) Get Lindsay married

A day full of joy and celebration is the only way to describe Lindsay & Angelo's Easton, PA wedding. Amidst last minute changes to long-decided plans, they remained calm. A global pandemic was not going to stop them from beginning the rest of their lives together! Their excitement and joy carried throughout the day. From their Catholic ceremony at St. Joseph Church in Limeport, PA to braving the muddy paths of Hugh Moore Park in Easton, PA, the happiness was never ending! As the groomsmen fawned over Angelo's new ring, the bridesmaids tucked and lifted every inch of bridal gown to protect it from the mud. We laughed and joked our way through pictures and poses, paused for the occasional dog walker or bike rider, and the fun never stopped!

The celebration continued at an outdoor reception in Easton, PA. Cars lined the grass, packing in as close as they could get, with guests eager to join the party. As the bridal party unloaded from the bus and refreshed themselves with water - yea right, they were adult beverages - Lindsay's maid of honor pulled me off to the side and asked me for help in delivering a top secret tool needed for her speech. How could I resist? No details were shared, I just knew I had to deliver the goods to the DJ in time - and I was in! Shortly after Lindsay and Angelo shared their first dance as husband and wife, I settled in as Angelo's best man began his speech. He regaled the guests with stories of growing up with Angelo and playing cops and robbers; what it was like living so close to his best friend for his whole life and how special it was to have Lindsay join their group. The love and joy was raw. Then it was Lindsay's turn to be poured over with love and affection by her closest of friends, her cousin. She spoke of Lindsay with such love and affection and was even able to draw a few tears from the crowd. And then, with a magic word and a signal, the top secret plan was revealed. She broke out into a rap, to the tune of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", describing Lindsay and Angelo's love and courtship. The crowd cheered, laughed and clapped along. Joy spread across Lindsay and Angelo's faces. As the rap came to a close and the entire room toasted to the newlyweds, to the bride and groom, the pure happiness of the day could be felt in every soul present.

There was love; there was laughter; there was sweat; and there was dancing. Oh was there dancing.
